  • Retrospective, population-based cross-sectional study (2004-2014) using Israeli healthcare data.
  • Inclusion of 1985 pemphigus patients and 9874 matched controls.
  • Logistic regression analysis to determine odds ratios (ORs) for neurologic conditions, with sensitivity analyses and adjustments for confounders.

  • Significantly higher odds of dementia (OR, 1.97), epilepsy (OR, 1.78), and Parkinson disease (OR, 2.09) in pemphigus patients compared to controls.
