Is the laparoscopic approach appropriate for pediatric subhepatic appendicitis?

Laparoscopic surgery for subhepatic appendicitis in children is safe, with similar complication rates to non-subhepatic cases. However, this unusual appendix location presents higher rates of complicated appendicitis and technical challenges.
