Estimating road traffic injuries in Jinja district, Uganda, using the capture-recapture method

Road traffic injuries (RTIs) are significantly under-reported by both police and hospitals in low-income countries. A capture-recapture analysis revealed that official registries capture only a fraction of actual RTI cases, highlighting data inaccuracies.
