Background:

Acne vulgaris is a common skin condition often associated with Demodex Folliculorum mite infestation.
The role of Demodex Folliculorum in acne pathogenesis is still debated.
Effective treatments targeting Demodex mites in acne patients are of clinical interest.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the efficacy of a specific skin cleanser in reducing Demodex Folliculorum infestation in patients with mild to moderate acne vulgaris.
To investigate the potential relationship between Demodex Folliculorum load and acne lesion count.

A monocentric, prospective, double-blind study involving 132 participants with mild to moderate acne vulgaris.
