Implications:

  • Spinal infections, particularly tuberculosis, should be considered in the differential diagnosis of recurrent failed back surgery syndrome.
  • Prompt identification and management of spinal infections are essential for improving patient outcomes.
  • This case highlights the importance of a multidisciplinary approach involving surgeons and infectious disease specialists.
