Abstract:
In this article we report a clinical case of erotomania whose clinical manifestations are interpreted from the perspective of the Lacan theory. The author postulates, based on clinical data and its psychoanalytic interpretative correlate, a possible link between Clérambault syndrome and melancholia, in which the former operates as a defense against the latter.
