Unexplained pain following total knee arthroplasty: Is rotational malalignment the problem?

Component rotation in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is not linked to unexplained pain. This study found no significant differences in tibial or femoral component rotation between painful and well-functioning TKAs, suggesting slight tibial internal rotation is common even in successful cases.
