Spontaneous correction of misplaced peripherally inserted central catheters

Peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) misplaced in the jugular or subclavian veins often spontaneously correct. This study found no need for manual replacement, as catheters remained functional and patients experienced no adverse symptoms.
