    Purpose of the Study:

    • To compare the osteocytic lacunae frequency in intramuscularly implanted demineralized incisors with orthotopic femoral bone.
    • To investigate the cellular characteristics of newly formed ectopic bone.

    • Demineralized incisors were implanted intramuscularly in rats.
    • Bone samples were evaluated 65 days post-implantation.
    • Osteocytic lacunae frequency was quantified per 1000 μm2 using the 'weight of bone picture' method.
