Arterialized and venous blood lactate concentration difference during different exercise intensities

Arterialized blood lactate levels initially exceed venous levels during exercise, especially at higher intensities. Blood lactate measurements become interchangeable between arterialized and venous samples after 10 minutes of exercise.
