Heatstroke significantly impacts brain function, as evidenced by abnormal brainstem auditory evoked potentials (BAEP) and somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEP) in all patients. These electrophysiological abnormalities suggest central nervous system dysfunction due to heatstroke-induced brain damage.
