An Alternative Method to Calculate Simplified Projected Aortic Valve Area at Normal Flow Rate

A new, simplified method for calculating projected aortic valve area (EOAproj) in low flow low gradient aortic stenosis (LFLG AS) shows narrow limits of agreement with the original method. This easier calculation may increase EOAproj use in clinical practice.
