Liver Transplantation in Recipients With High Model for End-stage Liver Disease Score

Liver transplantation is beneficial even for patients with very high Model of End-stage Liver Disease (MELD) scores. While these patients experienced longer hospital stays, there were no increased complications or decreased survival rates.
