Architectural design of appropriate facilities for leisure activities of disabled people

The study deals with architectural concept of specially designed facilities conceived for the needs of disabled people encouraging them to spontaneous participation in community-based rehabilitation programmes. The author made an attempt at the presentation of a model system of facilities connected with the utilization and organization of leisure time stimulating the integration of disabled people within the community. Proposed architectural environment and facilities for leisure activities take into consideration the recuperation of physical and psychic fitness and wellness.
