Summary

Dichloromethylene diphosphonate (Cl2MDP) effectively reduced hypercalcemia and hypercalciuria in patients with multiple myeloma and bone metastases. Oral and IV Cl2MDP demonstrated significant decreases in urinary calcium and hydroxyproline, alleviating bone pain.
