Giant Pseudoaneurysm from Superficial Temporal Artery After Trauma

A head injury led to a pulsatile lump, diagnosed as a superficial temporal artery pseudoaneurysm. Surgical removal was successful, avoiding facial nerve damage and leaving no permanent lump.

- Surgical excision is a viable treatment option for large superficial temporal artery pseudoaneurysms, especially when endovascular options may result in a persistent lump.
- This case highlights the importance of considering vascular injury in the differential diagnosis of head lumps following trauma.
