The study sample consists of 35caregivers working in a nursing home in Osaka, Japan. The results show that knowledge and practice of preventive measures were significantly higher after using the simulation program for preventive care of pressure ulcers. Nurses and care workers need to cooperate with each other to improve quality of care.
