[Giant Retroperitoneal Liposarcoma Treated by Surgical Resection and Chemotherapy - A Case Report]

• Postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy with eribulin was administered after the second enucleation.
• The liposarcoma recurred as peritoneal dissemination, requiring three additional surgical interventions.
• Combined surgical treatment and chemotherapy are ongoing due to heterogeneous tumor growth rates.

Implications:

• Aggressive surgical management and multimodal therapy are crucial for recurrent and disseminated liposarcoma.
• The case underscores the complex, often protracted, treatment course for large retroperitoneal liposarcomas.
