Confocal scanning laser microscopy in patients with postoperative endophthalmitis

Postoperative endophthalmitis can cause subclinical inflammation in the posterior cornea, detected by in vivo confocal microscopy. This study found increased keratocyte activation and unique deposits in treated eyes, indicating chronic corneal changes.
