Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To examine the influence of 30- and 60-second measurement intervals on parameter reliability.

Conclusions:

  • CoP path length is a reliable parameter for stabilometry, suitable for both bipedal and single-leg stances.
  • Frequency-based and extreme value parameters are less reliable and should be used cautiously in stabilometry.
  • Measurement interval duration impacts the reliability of specific CoP parameters, suggesting tailored approaches for different metrics.
