Abstract:
Alzheimer's disease is one of the biggest challenges for anyone involved in research in this area, because unfortunately there is little evidence that one of the various forms of therapy offered has some beneficial and lasting effect. Approximately 1,200 annual publications in scientific journals on this disease have still failed to provide a homogenous picture of the disease, its causes, and its evolution. For these reasons, Alzheimer's disease can be considered as a planetary health emergency of our time.
