Hypercapnia does not shorten emergence time from propofol anesthesia: a pilot randomized clinical study

Hypercapnia did not shorten emergence time from propofol anesthesia. Females recovered faster than males, irrespective of carbon dioxide levels during general anesthesia emergence.
