Bacterial Reduction after Gutta-Percha Removal with Single vs. Multiple Instrument Systems

Combined rotating instruments were more effective than single reciprocating instruments in reducing Enterococcus faecalis after gutta-percha removal. Neither system fully eliminated root canal infection, suggesting additional methods are needed.
