Abstract:
The protection of health and environment need to be taken into account when chemicals leave the laboratory after development to be produced in large quantities and marketed as either end or intermediate products. Over the past 20 years this necessity has led to complex structures of national and international cooperation, which are characterized by both scientific findings and political targets.
