Abstract:
More and more metal complexes with terminal borylene ligands will be synthesized. Although these ligands in metal complexes must be stabilized either by integration of the boron atom into a polyhedral skeleton (1) or by B-N π interactions with a bulky amino group (2), the route to new complexes with terminal RB ligands (R=alkyl, aryl) is clearly indicated.
