Effect of Tissue Factor on Colorectal Cancer Stem Cells

Targeting tissue factor (TF) did not reduce cancer stem cell (CSC) activity in colorectal cancer models. TF expression was inversely related to CSC activity, suggesting anti-TF therapies may not be effective for colorectal cancer treatment.

Conclusions:
- TF expression is inversely correlated with CSC activity in the examined colorectal cancer cell lines.
- Targeting TF may not be a viable therapeutic strategy for colorectal cancer due to this inverse relationship.
