Zinc complexed chitosan nanoparticles (Zn-CNP) effectively fortify durum wheat with zinc, enhancing nutrient use efficiency. This novel nanofertilizer approach reduces zinc application by tenfold while achieving comparable grain zinc enrichment to conventional methods.
