Sentinel Node Biopsy in Melanoma: A Short Update.

Sentinel node biopsy is a staging tool for melanoma, but complete lymph node dissection doesn't prevent distant metastases. Its use in atypical Spitz tumors is not recommended due to unique tumor biology.
