High-efficient extraction of principal medicinal components from fresh Phellodendron bark (cortex phellodendri)

Optimal extraction of key medicinal components from Phellodendron bark was achieved using hydrochloric acid/methanol-ultrasonic methods. This technique significantly enhances the yield of berberine, phellodendrine, and palmatine for traditional Chinese medicine applications.
