Comparative Study of Postmortem Concentrations of Antidepressants in Several Different Matrices

Peripheral blood is the standard for postmortem drug testing. This study found that cardiac blood, pericardial fluid, muscle, and vitreous humor can provide reliable antidepressant concentrations when peripheral blood is unavailable.
