Study of condylar positional changes after sagittal split osteotomy for mandibular advancement: A prospective cohort

Mandibular advancement surgery can cause predictable condylar changes, correlated with the extent of advancement. Maxillary surgery alone or with mandibular procedures does not significantly affect condylar position.
