Texture analysis of 2-deoxy-2-[18F]fluoro-D-glucose ([18F]FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scans can help differentiate benign from malignant thyroid incidentalomas. This approach may improve the selection of patients requiring further cytological examination.
