Background:

Thymic carcinoma is a rare, aggressive mediastinal neoplasm with variable presentation and prognosis.
It represents a heterogeneous group of tumors requiring precise diagnosis and staging.

Observation:

A 55-year-old male with Myasthenia gravis presented with fatigability, ptosis, and coughing.
Diagnostic workup included electromyography and excision biopsy.

Findings:

Histopathological analysis confirmed Thymic carcinoma-Lymphoepithelial variant.
Prognosis was assessed using Weissferdt-Moran, Masaoka, and Tsuchiya TNM staging systems.
Pleural and pericardial involvement indicated a poor prognosis, despite the absence of distant or lymph node metastases.

Implications:

Accurate staging is crucial for predicting thymic carcinoma outcomes.
Early diagnosis and comprehensive staging systems are vital for patient management.
This case highlights the importance of integrating clinical presentation with histopathological findings for rare thoracic malignancies.
