The Relationship between NAFLD and Sarcopenia in Elderly Patients

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) was less common in elderly patients with sarcopenia. However, NAFLD is not independently associated with sarcopenia in this population.

- Further research may be needed to elucidate the complex relationship between muscle health and liver disease.
