Isoflurane elimination via a bubble oxygenator during extracorporeal circulation

Inhalational anesthetics like isoflurane (ISF) can be discontinued closer to the end of extracorporeal circulation (ECC). This study found rapid ISF washout via bubble oxygenators, suggesting reduced risk of myocardial depression.
