Outcome and prognostic factors in medically treated canine prostatic carcinomas: A multi-institutional study

Treating canine prostatic carcinoma (PC) with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and chemotherapy offers improved outcomes. Combination therapy significantly increased median survival time (MST) and time to progression (TTP) compared to NSAIDs alone. Metastatic disease and intact status negatively impacted prognosis.
