Abstract:
The nano- and micro fibrous systems in the textile- and plastics industry have already been used, although the opportunity for using them as medical devices has only come in recent years into view. Since then in medical sciences they have shown promise in different therapeutic purposes. The manuscript summarizes the opportunities for medical use of the nano- and micro fibrous systems.
