Subfields of psychology tend to focus on one influence or behavior over others. Situationism is the view that our behavior and actions are determined by our immediate environment and surroundings. Summary

Human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs) may cause multiple sclerosis (MS) and other autoimmune diseases by transforming T cells. This suggests a new focus for research beyond traditional viral targets.
