The Posterolateral Approach for Calcaneal Fractures

The posteriorlateral approach (PLA) for calcaneal fractures shows fewer complications than the extended lateral approach (ELA). Both methods offer similar functional outcomes, making PLA a safe alternative for specific fractures.
