Eight Lysinibacillus fusiformis bacterial isolates were identified in exfoliating cream cosmetics. Matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) and 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequencing confirmed the presence of this human pathogen.
