Obesity Risk Factors in Patients After Kidney Transplantation

A significant number of kidney transplant recipients (KTRs) have sarcopenic obesity, characterized by excess body weight and muscle loss. This condition is linked to dietary habits, including higher sugar and fruit intake.

- Dietary assessment (FFQ6) suggests a link between carbohydrate intake and excess body weight in this population.
