This study introduces Lp- and Ls-Norm Distance Based Robust Linear Discriminant Analysis (FLDA-Lsp) for improved outlier robustness in discriminant analysis. The novel method enhances performance by utilizing Lp and Ls norms, outperforming existing techniques in image databases.
