Noradrenaline induces peripheral antinociception by endogenous opioid release

Noradrenaline (NA) provides peripheral pain relief by activating alpha1 and beta receptors, leading to the release of endogenous opioids that act on mu and delta receptors. This occurs even without inflammation.
