Luminescent protein staining with Re(i) tetrazolato complexes

New rhenium(I) complexes offer advanced luminescent protein staining. These complexes, particularly anionic ones with sulfonate groups, provide sensitive detection comparable to silver staining, outperforming Coomassie Blue.
