The revised Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment (CIWA-Ar) and modified Minnesota Detoxification Scale (mMINDS) show a strong correlation in assessing alcohol withdrawal severity. This correlation is most robust for patients with milder symptoms (CIWA-Ar ≤ 10).
