Stomach interference in 82Rb-PET myocardial perfusion imaging

82Rubidium PET myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) interference is reduced with stress imaging. Large stomach volume increases interference, especially in smaller patients, highlighting the importance of fasting before 82Rb PET scans.
