Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss: Comparative Study of Different Treatment Modalities

Adding hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HOT) to standard treatments for idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss (ISSNHL) significantly improves hearing recovery. Patients receiving HOT alongside systemic steroids, intratympanic steroid injection, and antiviral therapy experienced full hearing restoration.

- The addition of HOT to standard treatment protocols significantly enhances treatment efficacy for ISSNHL.
