Intestinal pseudo-obstruction caused by herpes zoster: Case report and pathophysiology

Herpes zoster (HZ) can cause visceral neuropathies leading to intestinal pseudo-obstruction. Early recognition of this rare complication in patients with HZ is crucial for effective management and avoiding surgery.
