[Rapid electron optical diagnosis of skin viral diseases]

By means of electron of microscopy and the negative staining technique, virus particles of herpes, pox and papillomaviruses from skin lesions may be demonstrated in a rather simple and quick way. Advantages and limitations of this method are presented.
