Mumps epidemiology in Cuba between 2004 and 2015

Despite measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccination, a mumps outbreak occurred in Cuba. Laboratory tests revealed varied antibody responses, suggesting additional diagnostic methods are needed in highly vaccinated populations.
